But UFC president Dana White announced that the Velasquez vs Dos Santos will be the main event of for the UFC on Fox event that is scheduled to debut on November 12, 2011 in Anaheim, California. Dana White wanted to hit the home run with its first ever Fox fight so they move the heavyweight title bout from pay-per-view onto network television.
UFC fans will be very happy about this becaues they will watch the best fights in MMA on Fox without buying pay-per-view. Millions of MMA fans will be watching this fight as UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will defend his title against Junior dos Santos on network television.
